Cordell Hull Lake TN Fishing Report:     18 Oct 2017

Cordell Hull

Reservoir Conditions: Fishing is fair. The water temperature is 65 degrees at Granville. Lake is at swimming pool.

Walleye and Sauger: A few sauger are being caught near Gainesboro while fishing jigs in the main river channel in 40 feet of water.

Crappie: A few crappie are being caught on jigs in sunken brush in 10 feet of water.

Black Bass: Several largemouths are being caught on frogs while fishing grass on the main lake.

Striped Bass: A few striped bass are being caught near Gainesboro while fishing shad at the mouths of the creeks.

Bluegill: Several bluegills are being caught on night crawlers and crickets while fishing bluff walls in 5 feet of water.

Catfish: Several catfish are being caught near the dam while jug fishing.

Reservoir Conditions: Fishing is slow. The water temperature is 73 degrees. Lake is falling.

Walleye and Sauger: Several saugers are being caught on minnows in the main river channel in 40 feet of water.

Crappie: A few crappie are being caught on jigs in sunken brush in 10 feet of water.

Black Bass: A few bass are being caught on sinkos while fishing grass near Granville.

Smallmouth bass: A few smallies are being caught while drop shotting river channel bluffs near the dam.

Striped Bass: A few striped bass are being caught near Celina while using trout or shad for bait on the main river channel.

Bluegill: Several bluegills are being caught on night crawlers and crickets while fishing bluff walls in 5 feet of water.

Catfish: Several catfish are being caught near the dam while jug fishing.
