Reservoir Conditions- Reservoir elevation is 1372.02. The water temperature is 51-56* degrees. Water clarity 5-10’ visibility. There are a lot of floating debris!
Bass-Â Good- Largemouth, Spots and are being caught on small shad like baits, crankbaits, jerk baits, vertical fishing with drop shot type baits, Jigs and soft plastic finesse baits. Smallmouth are being caught tightlining small flies and vertical fishing shad baits.
Crappie– Good – Crappie are in the creeks/coves, in and around docks pitching and vertical fishing small artificial baits. 5’-10’ – 20’-30’ deep.
Trout- Fair- Some Brown trout are being caught trolling shad and small spoons in 10’20’ of water in the candy creek, old Devault bridge area.
Striped Bass/Hybrid Bass– Fishing is Fair. Most of the fish are being caught around Davis Dock area on Holston side up to pt.7 and around Sonnys Marina up to Pickens Bridge area trolling spoons and Shad.

Trout– Fishing is good. The most productive areas are from Misty Water upstream to PT.7 area. Brown trout are being caught suspending live bait in the 30-40’ range. Trolling spoons in the main channel.
Striped Bass/Hybrid Bass– Fishing is fair. Most of the fish are being caught around Misty Waters, Candy Creek area casting spoons, shad type baits. Some has been caught on topwater back in the creeks.

Reservoir Conditions– Reservoir elevation is 1375.33. The water temperature is 56-57* degrees. Water clarity 10-15’ visibility.
Bass– Fishing is good. Largemouth are being caught on small crankbaits or small shad like baits by fishing along rocky banks/bluffs or trees. Smallmouths are being caught by crankbaits and dropping shad like baits in 20-30’.
Crappie– Fishing is good. Crappie are being caught on deep structure in creek channels. Anglers are using minnows or Bobby Garland baits on treetops. Target structure in the 15’-25’ range in mid-creek.
