December Journal 2019

24 Dec 2019

Hey folks, sorry that December has come and gone and I have written nothing. Today was the first day I’ve gone out in a month, it has been busy. I completed a couple of rods for Christmas presents and just have a lot going on right now. I do miss the longer days.

Today I went but it was pretty uneventful, I think I got one bite, but in fairness, they were generating, I went to the closest place I could go and was really just getting out on the water a bit.

However, the new year is coming soon. I don’t know when I’ll get out, but maybe the river will slow down a bit on the generating schedule after Christmas. Also, perhaps I can finally get caught up, ever heard the expression too many irons in the fire? Well, that sums me up pretty good.

I just wanted to say thank you to those that have been reading, I will try to do better next year. I wanted to wish everyone and Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Take a moment and remember we are celebrating the birth of The Savior. Sometimes we get wrapped up (pun intended) in the hustle and bustle of the season. But take a moment, thank The Lord for this most perfect gift.

Hope to get out on the water soon and I hope you’ve had a chance as well. May your holiday seasons be filled with fun, laughter, family, friends, and even a wet fishing line. God bless.
