Dale Hollow Lake Tennessee Fishing Report:    20 Sept 2017

Dale Hollow

Reservoir Conditions: Fishing is fair and the water temperature is 76 degrees. The water level is at 644 feet and falling.

Smallmouth Bass: A few smallmouths are being caught on structure bugs while fishing black shale banks in 20 feet of water.

Largemouth Bass: A few largemouths are being caught while fishing grass with sinkos in 12- 15 feet of water.

Crappie: A few crappies are being caught near Eastport on minnows in 10 feet of water near fallen trees.

Walleye: A few walleye are being caught while gigging spoons on points in 30 feet of water near the dam.

Reservoir Conditions: Fishing is slow and the water temperature is 75 degrees. The water level is at 645 feet and falling.

Smallmouth Bass: A few smallmouths are being caught early in the morning and late in the afternoons while fishing top water baits while fish are chasing shad.

Largemouth Bass: A few largemouths are being caught on shallow running crankbaits in the rivers while fishing shallow wood.

Walleye: A few walleye are being caught while trolling at night on main lake flats in 28-30 feet of water.
