As we look at the weather forecast for next week, the temperatures will be excellent for fishing with the highs in the 70s and a few chances of rain/thunderstorms, but mostly cloudy. Lots of opportunities to fish the pads and grassy covers. We have seen more bass fishermen, and they are doing well with the catch. We anticipate crappie and bluegill fishing to be favorable.

The bluegill and crappie are on fire! Waxworms and crickets are good choices for bluegills. Fishing along the shoreline and lily pads seems to be the hot spots. Bluegill spawn will keep them active through June. Catfish are always a good option and always a good bite year-round. Next week’s weather will be around 80 degrees with a slight chance of showers/thunderstorms.

Ultimate fishing the past few days and continues to be productive for crappie, bluegill, bass, and catfish. The weather forecast for this week is favorable with partly cloudy skies, a slight chance of AM showers later in the week, and moderate wind.
