FISHING REPORT

Cordell Hull:   Fishing is good.  Water temper is 50 degrees ; lake is low.

Lots of sauger begin caught near Gainesboro on jigs in 30-40 feet of water.

Bass fishing is good on crank baits on creek channel banks in 5-10 feet of water.

A few crappie are being caught laydown trees and stumps in 5-15 feet of water on jigs.  27 Feb 2012

 

 

Fishing is fair.  Water temperature is 49 degrees with color.  Several bass are being caught on crankbaits and jigs while fishing isolated stumps on points.  Several crappie are being caught while fishing small jigs in laydown trees in 10-to-15 feet of water.  Sauger fishing is fair while fishing jigs in 40-to-45 feet of water near Gainesboro.  08 Feb 2012

 

Fishing is fair. River is high with lots of current. A few sauger are being caught near Gainesboro while fishing jigs in 40-to-45 feet of water. Crappiefishing is fair while fishing minnows and small jigs around laydown trees in 10 feet of water. Bass fishing is fair on crankbaits and jigs on channel banks in 10 feet of water.  01 Feb. 2012

 

Fishing is fair.  Water temperature is in the 40s.  River is somewhat muddy.  When the rivers conditions are right, several sauger are being caught below Gainesboro in the channel in 40-50 feet of water.  A few crappie are being caught on minnows on river channel banks in lay-down trees in 10-to-15 feet of water.  Bass fishing is fair on crankbaits and jigs on channel banks in 5-10 feet of water. 26 Jan. 2012
