Fishing Report Percy Priest Lake Tennessee:   08 May 2017

May 8th, 2017 – Percy Priest
The crappie are wrapping up their spawn and have been easier to catch in deeper brushpiles with Crappie Magnets and minnows. Chartreuse and black have been a productive color when fished on 1/8oz jigs. From the upper end of the lake to the lower end, crappie are being caught in 10-25ft! The bass have been biting VERY well mid and down lake! Topwater lures and soft plastic crawfish in 2ft-8ft of water have been producing. Now is the time to book your bass trip………we are catching 12-25 bass a trip! Lastly, if you would like to receive my 100% detailed fishing reports on where BCGS catches their fish, what they’re catching them on and patterns that are effective, sign up for my Premium Reports here! 08 April 2017

April 8th, 2017 – Percy Priest
The last week on Percy Priest has been great! The water temperature has climbed into the upper 60’s throughout the entire lake and the fish have moved shallow. The crappie have moved shallow to spawn and biting on jigs and minnows on floats in 3ft-12ft! There is just something about watching that bobber descend beneath the surface that will never get old! The bass can be caught on several different patterns. Up lake, where the water is warmer, bass are being caught in 1ft-4ft of water on crankbaits, spinnerbaits, rattle traps and soft plastics. Down lake, where the water is a little cooler, bass are being caught on TN-rigs, jigs, soft plastics and crankbaits in 4ft-8ft. Also, BCGS’s pontoon boat is up and running! Bring the whole family out with us. You can find more information here at http://www.briancarper.com/pontoon.html.
