Fishing Report for Douglas Lake Tennessee TN: 22 May 2013
The fishing report didn’t change very much from last week and they are experiencing the calm before the storm. That means this week is at a much slower pace than when Memorial Day Weekend arrives.
Crappie fishing has appeared to slowed down a little. They are still catching but not quite in the numbers they have been experiencing. One of the anglers didn’t reach his limit, however, 4 of those that he caught went 16″ or better.
Bass fishing is good right now but has not reached great just yet. They are catching a few bass on the lake but it should be getting better and better.
Catfish is real good, they are doing well on the catfish with typical catfish baits.

With nice days and a few cool nights, the bite on Douglas is doing well. Crappie anglers are still catching a lot of crappie. You may want to try a little deeper water, not sure how deep, but they are still catching a lot of crappie.
Bass fishing has picked up and it is believed to be on worms and crankbaits.
Catfish bite has picked up real well, it is time to go and wet a line.
