Fishing conditions as of April 11, 2013 are as follows: Largemouth bass are being caught on crank and jerk baits in 15-25 feet of water. Crappie are being caught on minnows from the banks

On Wednesday, April 3, 2013, the Headwater Elevation is 501.06 feet above mean sea level and the Tailwater Elevaton is 453.96 feet above mean sea level. The surface water temperature is 49 degrees at Defeated Creek.
Fishing conditions as of March 28, 2013 are as follows: Fishing is fair, lake is at winter pool. Crappie are slow and spotty. Bass have been fair on topwater and spinnerbaits. Rockfish below the dam have slowed.
